I got tired of looking for a reasonably priced BC-RH96 (ie. I'm not ready to pay almost the same I shelled out for my second hand scanner) and eventually wrote a software to do that.
Broad idea is to install my radio in the boot of the car or under a seat, in an almost stealth setup.
Communications happen via Bluetooth: i added capability to the radio using an external dongle.
