I know its early, but I have a question about display modes on the BCT15.

Is there any way to get the GRP (groups) to display while scanning?

No. If you press the F-KNOB, the GRP Status will appear for a few seconds. If you press and Hold F-KNOB, until a solid 'F' appears on display, the GRP Status will remain on screen for the system scanned until you release the F-KNOB.

You don't say what you are scanning when you want it to do this. But, for trunked systems, the channels are never "scanned." The scanner sits on the control channel and compares every active TGID in the data stream with the ones you've programmed into channels to see if the comms should be monitored. So, the idea of "when is the scanner scanning the channels in a particular group in a system" is one that is only valid during conventional scanning.

I think he's referring to the 396/330/246 which always show the groups that are enabled when scanning...
