• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Very informative. One question, does the telescoping antenna n to any angle or just 45 and 90 degrees?
Any angle from 90 degrees all the way back to 90 degrees in any position.

Hey Matt,
Great job man! The pics don't look that bad. What kind of camera is it?
I love the black look of the BCT-15 compared to the 996 for some reason.
Take care

It is a Canon of some type. It is actually a video camera. It is the FD's camera. The FD also has a regular Digital Cam, but it sucks even worse. lol

Thanks for posting the pics Safety. This scanner is a step up from my BCT 8, and the capability of programming the alpha data is a plus. Definitely on my "gotta get" list. Looking forward to your review.
