I was wondering if the Rec Out jack of the BCT15 has a delay or not.
I currently have my BCT15 with a Diamond RH77CA recording a PC with a 3.5mm male to male.
Currently the BCT15 is on hold of a channel and I seem to record everything for the most part and I normally get a nice strong signal for that channel.
Though, I have a BR330T in the same room, not exactly in the same spot but about 6 feet away and I was checking something and even though it's in scan mode with the same channel, using the same recorders XCorder and Vox2File and even a slower recording PC, it doesn't seem to miss a tiny bit of the beginning.
Often the BCT15, seems to have someone saying "Portable 2 to Dispatch" as saying "table 2 to Dispatch", of course not sounding like table, but I mean the Por seems to snip off.
Can I probably fix this by going to the headphone jack of the BCT15?
I don't need to actually hear the sound out of the speaker because well, I just don't listen to my BCT15 that way.
EDIT: This thread may be invalid because I forgot that I set my BCT15 with a CTCSS on the channel which I only had it set to Search before. From what I gather on the forums and other areas, if I tell the BCT15 or any scanner for that matter to only look for a certain CTCSS, that it may clip off some beginning until it knows it's the right stuff. The BR330T of course was in Search mode.
I just turned off the CTCSS on the BCT15, so I'm going to see if that fixes my problem.
EDIT OF THE EDIT: Yes, I defiantly don't seem to be losing really any audio anymore on my BCT15. It seemed like a delay at first but like I thought, once I told it no, CTCSS, it started to act normal again.
