BCT15 Tone out feature

What's the trick to getting the tone out feature to work on this scanner?? I also have a 996t and have the same issue.

I have tried programming them manually and via pc, no luck either way.

Channels and tone numbers are correct...

On the outside chance you did not know, you can not be scanning. You must have the radio set for FTO only. Fire Tone Out - The RadioReference Wiki From the wiki: "Per UPman, setting the wrong mode will affect the accuracy of the decoding. Try changing the modulation from Auto to one of the other 2 modes, dependent on what the correct default is for the frequency being monitored."
