BCT15X LCD Questions (viewing angles)

I had a BCT15 a while back and if you looked at the LCD at an angle, the LCD was un-readable. After about a 45 degree angle, the words on the LCD would seem to disappear. Is this still the case with the BCT15X?

The XT display, size, and functions are the same as the previous models with exception to how some of the added features are displayed (screen mode, UID, ect.). So your going to see the same amount of screen.

Turning up the contrast level helps with it a bit.

I really want a new scanner. I just don't know if I NEED a new scanner. LOL. I have the PSR-500 and BC396XT. I am wanting a base/mobile analog scanner (only because I don't have $500 for a digital to use around the house. I could save a little money and get a PSR-400 but I like the features and looks of the 15X much more. Besides, the BCT15 I had was a real champ on most all bands. May bite the bullet today and order one.
