I am wondering if anyone else has had issues like this.
The scanner scans by the channel numbers but the freuency never changes or the frequency just flashes on one particular frequency but there is no audio or birdies on that freq. the squelch is up where it should be and this sometimes or mostly all the time on happens a trunked freq. No other buttons function when this happens. I have to turn the unit off and then back on again and then it starts to work fine. I have reset the unit a few times and reprogram the freqs again but still didnt fix the issue.
I have also had the issue when you are scanning trunked freqs it will stop on a certain freq and it stops trunking on that freq and all you hear is the noise.
The Firmware is up to date.
I would like to send it in for repair but I am afraid the tech will say there is nothing wrong with the unit because it happens so randomly.
