Does anyone know how to program in talk groups into the pre-programmed HP systems? I don't see any way to access them.

are you refering to the hwy scan mode where the state and "scan" appear? if so then no; you just scan through what it already programmed. if you want to program something, then just use the normal banks.

The preprogrammed section does not allow itself to be edited.

now you can lock it on a data channel and scan through talkgroups only on that system ive found out recently, its a little tricky but it can be done
