bcTool Help!

I just completed the creation of some new systems to put into my 396XT. I hit the "upload to scanner" button, and, for the last 15 minutes or so, it has been saying, "Fetching System Information". It's bcTool+, Version 2.0.0.916. HELP!!!

511 PM: I finally gave up and went to Task Manager and hit "end task" on the program. I closed it with no error messages.

Try Freescan. I used to use bctool but like freescan a lot better.

There is a BCTool forum on Yahoo Groups where you will probably have better luck getting a helpful answer. The bonus being no fools will start telling you to use another program, but will help you with what sounds like a connectivity problem.

Check to make sure that the proper comm port is being used. There is a utility within BCTool to help with that. I don't have a copy of BCTool on this computer or I'd be able to give you a better answer.
