I just purchased a premium account so I could download public safety freqs for my bc346. I imported a couple things from RR using bcTool+. I of course had to sign in with my RR account, everything worked fine.

Now, however, when I use bcTool to try to import programming from RR, it says "An error occurred while trying to connect to RadioReference. Pleas ensure your username and password are valid, and that your account is not expired and try again."

I've waited several hours, and bcTool is still giving me the same message. I've also restarted my computer, with no results.

I've just discovered, that bcTool is no longer accepting connection from my scanner. It tells me to make sure no other applications are using the same port.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on, and how to resolve it?

At a guess, your 2nd issue is likely caused by another application grabbing the COM port you thought was originally dedicated to your scanner. Go into Device Manager and take a look.
