That's rebanding, and so far, no. I too am waiting - not just for rebanding (which really hasn't started in Maryland yet) but to see just how far Rob is going to support the new version 3 firmware capabilities (such as the Jump function - actually introducted in v2 firmware in the 396 - and some like to use the new RSSI reporting for a bandscope - which to me, is nothing more than a toy. But some do like it...)

[edit] Something else to keep in mind. In a little over a month, the current method of accessing the database through a XML interface will be turned off. There is a newer SOAP based interface which will be the way to go after that (April 1 is the date, if memory serves me. See the RR blog for more). It could be that a lot of developers - Rob included - are trying to get the new interface coded up and ready for use before this date. With as many scanners as BCTool supports, that's going to take time, his new job notwithstanding.
