Hello everyone, I currently live in South Gate, CA. Recently this city has become very hot with crimes such of breakings, arson, you name it and want to stay inform so I bought a Uniden BC125AT thinkin I would be able to pick up the cities police department chatter. Unfortunately when I put the only ffrequency available to the 125AT nothing was happening. Did more research here at radio reference and found out that maybe phase I & II p25 can possibly have something to do with it. So I went ahead a bought the uniden BCD436HP thinking this would help my situation for sure. One day into owning it I'm not able to hear my police department incidents that are happening I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or if it's even possible to pick up this department. if anyone can enlighten me i would greatly appreciate it thank you guys in advance.
