I hear officers from numerous agencies call out at their residence, station, and many other places "for a quick PR." Does anybody know what this stands for? I would imagine it stands for "portable recharge," or perhaps "using the RR," but I don't think the latter is likely.

It doesn't seem like the officer is actually talking about "PR," short for public relations, either. It is common for officers to check in at local establishments such as gas stations, "for a cup" (of coffee), to show presence and get to know the locals better, but that doesn't coincide with stopping at the station or their residence.

Thanks
