Beacon at 66 kHz

Hi. Im picking up a 50kw beacon from Germany on CW at 77.5khz and a 15kw one from England on 60khz. Whilst all that is normal and as advertised on WRTH I'm picking up a beeping tone transmission on 66khz. I can't find out what this is other than a 10kw Russian beacon advertised at 66.6khz AM. This though would mean my Alinco is 600 Hz off on AM mode. Could anyone help me either identify the transmission at 66khz or tell me if its possible if my Alinco is 600hz off on AM? I know everything is fine tuning wise on SSB . How would I test this? Tuning strong broadcast stations on AM makes no difference when I tune 600hz either way. BTW, I live in England.

Our (U.S.) time signal is at 60 kHz, On my Lowe HF-150 get it at about 59 kHz in USB mode, and almost 61 kHz in LSB mode. That's an amplitude modulated signal also. On other receivers the USB/LSB offset might be flipped. If the beacon you're wondering about comes in strong enough, then you should hear its pulse right at 66 kHz in AM mode, but it won't sound like a beep. It would sound more like a low 'buzzing' pulse. But the carrier has to come in pretty strong to hear that.

Thanks for the Longwave link. On further investigation the beeping tone which does change rhythm goes as low as 62.5khz AM and as high as 66.3khz.
