I wanted to start a thread so we could share notes about Beale AFB scanner configurations. I'll start with an updated 'generic' airshow profile. I updated this since posting for Mather Airshow. Updates should be inconsequential for Beale show, since most dealt with Blue Angels.

I'll be uploading UASD & Win96 configs for the LMR stuff soon.

Please find enclosed a copy of my Beale Airshow configs. I think you'll find they are pretty comprehensive. If I've missed something, please let me know and I'll update.

The text below is from the note file contained in the zip
=============================================
Directories:
bcd396t - Config and system files for Uniden BCD346T_UASD
bc246t - Config and system files for Uniden BC246T_UASD

Note that the 396t is the preferred configuration/scanner for this show. The radio covers MilAir and it also will decode the Beale TRS. The configurations for the 246t omit the MilAir coverage. The KBAB TRS _is_ included with the 246t. Although the radio cannot decode the audio, the radio can decode TGIDs. These TGIDs can be manually logged and then locked out, or stored via the 'Autostore' feature.

KBAB.usd - BCD396T/UASD File for conventional radio at Beale AFB
QK Description
1 KBAB Field Frequencies
KBAB Field - US IFR Supplement
KBAB Kelty - Military 1991
KBAB Grove
2 KBAB Air Ops Frequencies
KBAB Ops - US IFR Supplement
KBAB Kelty - Military 1991
KBAB Grove
3 KBAB Approach Frequencies
KBAB Kelty - Military 1991
4 PD/FD Conventional
PD/FD Kelty
PD/FD rr.com
PD/FD Grove
5 PW/Ops Conventional
PW/Ops Kelty
PW/Ops rr.com
PW/Ops Grove
The configuration outlined above has come from several sources below. As I was entering the configuration and classifying the frequencies, I also wanted to retain the source of the information when I entered it into the profile. I decided to keep one group per source per category. For example, the KBAB Field Frequencies category is comprised of data from three different sources. Each source is a separate group, and each group is assigned to the same group quick key.

US IFR Supplement
Robert Kelty Monitoring the Military 1991

Military Monitoring Guide, Grove
Note the conventional frequencies in Qk4/5 have tone search and tones enabled. Disable alert tone when tone is found.

KBAB TRS.usd - BCD396T/UASD for trunked radio at Beale AFB
QK Description
1 Police / Fire
2 Ops
3 Antfreq's TGID Log

The information for the Beale TRS came from:
http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=3525

KBAB.p96 - Win96 File for conventional and trunked radio at Beale AFB.

Bank Description
1 KBAB Field
2 KBAB Air Ops
3 KBAB Approach
4 KBAB TRS
5 KBAB Police/Fire
6 KBAB PublicWorks/Ops
7 Thunderbird Air
8 Thunderbird Ground
9 Colors/Itinerants/FRS/GMRS
0 blank

Sources for KBAB.p96 are the same as for the Uniden/UASD files. Source of frequency is noted by the letter K, G, or R for Kelty, Grove or Radioreference. Unattibuted or unlabeled frequencies are from open sources. Land mobile radio frequencies have been set to CT 0.0 for CTCSS tone search, since 99% of all Military LMR use is either carrier squelch or CTCSS.

Thanks antfreq, I'll try and cross check this with my list.

What program made the log?
