Airshow performers will probably use frequencies that are documented in the Monitoring Times airshow guide. here is a configuration:

I did a little monitoring at the tail end of the practice airshow. I got here a bit late and only managed to see the Patriots fly. They were using 127.3 as their A-A frequency.

The Beale TRS seems to follow the pattern shown in the RRDB. One addition I figured out today. 560 is Fire TAC1.

I also have yet to monitor any traffic on the 2M conventional frequencies. During my last visit in 2006, some TRS traffic appeared to be cross patched into the 2M frequencies. So far, these conventional frequencies are quiet. I guess they got rid of all of the older radios.

I'll update after I monitor on the base.

Believe it or not, I wouldn't mind seeing the Sherpa. Those things are pretty rare to see. Feel free to post some pics of the statics.

Nice show today. Free parking and admission. Plenty of food/drink vendors. A word of advice, though; if you stand in front of the C-17 before it taxis to the runway, hold onto your hat. And your girlfriend/wife if they are under a buck-20. Both will disappear before you turn around.

Met B52Hbuff out on the tailgate party walk-down - it was a pleasure sir and thanks for your info sheet. All in all it was a great show! Stuck to the aircom frequencies m'self (while others had their ears to the TRS goings- on) and I found everything I wanted to listen to in the clear on VHF-air band AM. Got some great still shots and video too.
