I have a bearcat bc350a. I was wondering if there is any modifications for this scanner. I am looking to increase the reception. I do have an outside antenna but when I get people talking on it, It gets broken up or is full of static. Can any one help out

If you're looking to get rid of static or poor reception, there's about a million possible reasons for it:
- Interference from electronics in your home
- Nearby radio or cell tower
- Scanner antenna in bad location
- System you're trying to monitor is too far away
Try using an indoors antenna, such as the metal BNC whip version that came with the 350A. If you're getting full conversations without static, well then maybe your outside antenna is just overloaded by too many nearby signals.
