When my 16 channel Bearcat scanner broadcasts a message thru my computer, you can hear a ton of static during the transmission. I'm just using a simple mono 3.5" to 3.5" cord into the line in. If you need to hear, feed ID is 3350 (Boyd Co Police Fire & EMS)
