I have a uniden bearcat bcd996p2 basestation, I need to know how to permanently lockout a series of channels i cannot find them in my in my software to lock them out. could someone please help out a neebie?

Try hitting L/O twice, once for temp, twice for permanent.

Or, if they're all under one Quick Key.. press the corresponding quick key.

If it's in close call you can lock out the freq ranges by pressing the number key for that range.

In service search, it's easiest to use software to change what ranges are.
