Bearcat/Uniden model 278CLT Scanner

I'm thinking about buying a older model Bearcat Scanner model 278CLT .
I know it a older model but want to know if anyone has had any expierince
with this radio. I would use it as a backup to other radios I have and still have other features "regular" scanners do not have. Anyone know what a good price is?

I have one on the night stand beside the bed. I mainly use it as an alarm clock and weather channel monitor. I paid $40.00 for it on CLEARANCE from Best Buy. This model has been discontinued for quite some time.
