Beartracker 885 No Audio

Using the BC T 885 for over a year and now I have no audio ? It turns on and all looks good ... humm

From the manual:
EXT. SP: Connects 8-ohm 4-watt speaker to remotely monitor receiver. When an external speaker is plugged in, the internal speaker is off.

Does an earphone work?
