Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to figure out how to correctly program a Pro-2096 for Bedford Co and surrounding area. I know that they have a EDACS system for right now and that for that you have to program it for each LCN and then put in the talkgroups. I thought I had it programmed correctly, but my friend that I programmed it for, came back and said that he didn't hear anything. I'm using Win 96.

I'm from outside your area so my help will be limited.
Looking at the frequencies in the RRDB, there are some
listed in the 860.XXXX range. I think this was before re-banding
took place.
Think they should be between 851-859.9975. Looked at the FCC
license and there are now 6 fixed sites and no licensed frequencies
above 859.9975 so perhaps no one has up dated the RRDB since
the changes took place.
If that's the problem, you need the current correct frequencies and
you will also need to load a custom table into the scanner to function properly.
Good luck. Wish I could be more help...

If you post your scanner file I can take a look at it for errors. I have had no problems listening to Bedford on any of my scanners including PRO-2096, PSR-500 and PSR-600.

What site are you trying to listen to? Bedford or Lynchburg? Not all traffic is carried on each site. Just the traffic local to that area.
