begginner in satellite monitering

im a beginner in this kind of scanning. i was wondering if someone could post some satellite and space frequencies that are common, or that can be hear in northeast illinois. also frequencies that can be heard from any position in the us. thanks

I am new to the sat com monitoring as well, a majority of the questions I had got answered
by the folks(one who is a member here) in #hearsat (zirc.org).
