Well the basic performance is pretty much identical between all 3, so it doesn't matter that much that the v3 wasn't specifically tested in Dave's review.

One v3 review is here (cough ) with much emphasis on MW though (because the shortwave part has been reviewed quite a bit):

Have owned mine about a year. Sensitive little rig. May not have bells and whistles but it works great.
