I am not totally sure if there is an issue with Bell FleetNet Zone 2. I am currently listing to the feed and also I programmed my scanner to monitor OPP. I see the control channel on my screen but no comm's so far. I'm pretty sure I programed it right with Band Plans end codes and Status Bit to ignore

I am not getting any comm's so I am pretty sure something is going on with it.

Works fine for me.

what's your location?
Ottawa, but as I said I am listening to the feed and no comm's. When I program it in my 325P2 I saw the control channel on the screen so I assume that means it is working. I removed the system as all I got was no OPP comm's or EMS. What is the issue?

I saw the CC channel on the screen so I think it meant I programmed it right. I could try different sites and see, but if I am doing something wrong with settings, then I could adjust it.

Your settings must have been messed up somehow. I see in the Quebec forum you aren't hearing anything there either on the RENIR system.

Can you remember all the things you adjusted? Put them back the way they were when you got the radio and once you fix it leave it alone.

I will do that.
As for the Quebec system, I saw TG ID, but they had to be ENC. I have no problem with the Ottawa trunk.

It may benefit you to spend the few dollars to become a RadioReference Premium Subscriber and use software like Proscan or Freescan to import from the database. It may alleviate many of the programming headaches you’re dealing with.

I got Bell FleetNet working and I did it all by hand and it works perfectly now. Also in my other P25 post, I found out something about Modulation. It seems FM is one of them for P25 trunk.

Glad you got it going. Sometimes us 'experts" miss the obvious like specifying the modulation type or bandwidth.

Yes, I am excited I have comm's now. I am thinking that there won't be any change to Zone 2 for LMRN anytime soon.

I got it to work as a Coventional system, but not as the Motorola trunk, so I put all of the channels as Conventional and made it Digital Only so I can have OPP to hear. I had EMS but it was too busy, so I changed to just OPP when i programmed it as the MOT system.
I could see the control channel on the screen. I hit Hold and saw site ID, but no comm's on it, like the system was silent . I don't know why but it works as conventional, which is better then nothing.

Did you program the talk groups for your area in with the system?

My comment above still stands - you would easily be listening to everything very quickly and less tediously.

I have it as the conventional system. I am okay with having it like that. It's just strange that the trunk system didn't work. I programmed some OPP and some EMS TG ID. I will try again and program each TG ID, but I do see the site ID on screen and control channel on screen too.

I'm going to program it again and add all TG ID

This is my site for Ottawa. It has site ID. I put in the talk groups ID, Band Plans but there's no comm's. When I hit Hold and turn the knob, I can see the TG

I did everything right, but I also have it as Conventional for monitoring the OPP, so that works fine.
