I have also asked this in the general area. I will go remove it in a moment if needed.

I was wondering if anyone has the frequency that is used by maintenance and managment of bella vista properties. The proprty is owned my Matrix limited LLC.

A search for "bella vista" in the yellow pages site will get you the address and phone. I have done extensive searching and cannot find this frequency. Does anyone by chance have this one.

We are right up by clermont college and that one would be nice also. Have not yet searched for it. But being betweenthe Sherrifs office and the clermont county airport I have plenty to listen to. I would love to have Bella Vista's frequency.

Thanks for any and all help. It looks like this will be one of my new favorite boards.
Thanks to MONIX for the mention and for me finding yall.

For the college try: 461.5250, not sure if that is it or not, but it
looks like a possibility.

I did an FCC 5 mile radius search from the Bella Vista Apts address.
I did not find anything listed that would correspond to them or the
property owner. With that said, I can think of four possibilities:

1. They are using radios that need no licensing such as MURS radios;

151.8200
151.8800
151.9400
154.5700
154.6000

or using a low powered intinerant/old color DOT radios such as

151.6250
151.9550
464.5500
464.5000
467.7625
467.8125
467.8500
467.8750
467.9000
467.9250

2. They are licensed under another name with the transmitter site listed elsewhere.

3. They lease time and radios from a radio vendor using a repeater or system elsewhere in the city.

4. They are using Nextel.

Can you confirm that they are indeed using two way radio or Nextels?
If you can get a close enough look at one get a good look at the antenna
that should give you an idea of what band they are operating on.

The lenght of the antenna looks to be in the 40 range. they are definatly not nextel. I have been monitoring the DOT freq's thinking the same think. These look to be newer motorola sets. They look to be ex500's but I cannot confirm.

I will do some more searching and scanning through the different possibilties.

Thank you for the help.

And I will let you know about the possible college freq.

I guess as a last option I can call them and ask for the frequency directly.

Thanks for the help.

I am sure that this will be one of my new favorite boards.

UPDATE

I have just found a radio of thiers. (in here to replace the light sockets) Got the radio back to them but not before I checked out the bottom. Its a purple dot radio.

Have a set of old motorola spirits in the UHF freq. Is there anyway to modify them to recieve on other chanels other that the itenerant freqs?

Used to use them for long trips. Would love to take them to work with me.

At work we use 467.1125 as these are itenerantsand operate on J dot and others could I modify it to poperate on the afeomentioned freq? it is a difference of .65 mhz.

Off topic there I know but just curious.

As you can tell I am just getting into scanning and whatnot (25 yrs old). Studying for my licenses now. Loving my PRO 92. Cant wait to get my rig put together. Going to be getting some atiques from my father. He is ham from way back.

Unfortunatly he is no longer around to show me the ropes so I will be relying on yall.

Thanks

Jim.
