Iam trying to listen to Bellevue Police Dept. I have the King County Trunk System ( EPSCA)
programed into the scanner, and have all of the talk groups for BELLEVUE POLICE ,fire, and city.

I can hear the city talking and I can hear traffic stops, and record checks, and the street dept but I don't hear regular patrol dispatch. They are sopposed to be on 21424

Do I have to be in the city to hear them are they on a different reapeter? than the city public works?
Thanks

when it is late or when street crews are having a skeleton crew, bellevue police dispatches them on city wide 20912 . i almost listen to bellevue talkgroups exclusively, so i consider myself a slight expert on this subject lol :) i have never heard them make a traffic stop on city wide 20912 (that doesn't mean they haven't of course), just on bel-1 (or bel-2 if bel-1 is closed). usually, if they don't call it out on bel 1 (21424), they will call it out on records (21360). to minor crimes/disputes/hazards or not-in-progress crimes, BPD units are dispatched through their computers (MVC).

bellevue streets uses 20368 as a car-to-car channel (they call it channel three)

you're welcome :) i've heard a BPD unit on there once when they needed to talk to some bellevue streets worker, so it has been known to happen.

while we're on this topic, take a look at bellevue's 911 dispatch center http://www.eastsidecomm.org/NewEastsideCenter911/index.html

It's very very cool! it's on the top floor of bellevue city hall. i was told it was built to withstand a structure fire and/or explosion; it's floors are extremely thick (if you look closely in the pictures, you will see that the windows are almost at feet level, and that is because of the reenforcement floor).

BPD radio (which is actually the Eastside Regional Communications Center) also does dispatch for eastside fire, clyde hill police, the eastside DUI task force, and the eastside narcotics team.

and probably most INTERESTING to YOU, i've heard eastside fire testing out a new computer voice dispatch program on talkgroup 20880. it sounds better than seattle fire's lol

if you haven't notice, i'm slight obsessed with Bellevue Police hahaha :) jk . . . but i really need to put some of this stuff in wikipedia lol
