I have a BCD436 that I got used. The belt clip is missing and I can't find out what screw it uses. Or where I can get one. Can anyone point me in the right direction to the size or where I can get one. Of course the button it gone too.
Thanks

There is only one screw for the belt clip on the 436HP and the SDS-100. You can check Uniden’s site for the part. I would buy a case from Scanner Master. As much as the radio costs it helps protect it.

There is a seller on Ebay that has aftermarket belt clip studs with screws ... if you do a search sometimes you will find a original set also.

Somewhere in the past I found a metal one (Uniden???)

Why...?
Because I use a standard 2-way radio mic clip on the dash of the car and it works perfectly with the belt clip stud to hold the radio.
Metal wears a lot better...

Pro tip:
Goop some Loctite on the stud's screw before installing it in the radio.
Don’t use the Red Loctite. I did based on suggestion from Uniden support desk…it melted the plastic. Had to send radio in for service…they did not charge me Since I followed their recommendation. Fyi

That seems odd, but appreciate the tip.

I used blue.
Worked great.
Been holding for a few years now.

I do the same, but mine is mounted on a piece of PVC trim cut to the size of a cell phone. I put it in my cupholder cell phone mount to hold my scanner. Mine has the plastic knob on the back and so far after a couple years of use it's held up fine, just had to tighten the screw twice over the years. I added a few elastics around it to hold my 246T/325p2 style belt clip scanners. Non-permanent and easy to remove, as I didn't want to drill into my dash
