The round mount for the factory beltclip that's screwed to the radio is loose and can't be tightened up to where it should be. Looks like the plastic housing it screws into is stripped some, obviously over tightened a bit at some point.
Any fix or has this been an issue with other folks coming loose? Looks like the screw is kinda short compared to the hole depth. Thought about trying find a slightly longer screw (that doesn't go through obviously) to fix this, but didn't know if there was a way to repair the threads or what others have done to fix this. Yes I am fully aware I can buy a case that has it's own beltclip.
Personally I wish it had a metal insert with machine threads for better durability.

Do yourself a favor and buy one of the soft cases. Not only is the protection excellent but the belt clip is great. I got mine from ScannerMaster.
