The first frequency is a control for the Warsaw MoSWIN site. After some quick research the second frequency you listed is the control for Osceola MoSWIN site.

Theoretically yes. That depends on if there an affiliation to the Warsaw site. I suspect something would likely be affiliated to that site full time but it’s hard to say. I’d say your best chances of hearing them IF they go onto MoSWIN would be the Warsaw ajd colecamp sites. One of those two sites should have something affliated to them. Assuming they bought/have proper multinad radios

I did some further checking on this. From what I was told by some techs there has been no indication of Benton county moving to MoSWIN. It’s very possible they may be moving to their own P25 conventional. Apparently Henry county will also be moving to a P25 conventional repeater system.

There are two types of radio systems regardless of digital or analog. One is conventional and one is trunked. MoSWIN is a trunked system.

P25 conventional would just be a standard P25 repeater. Non trunking.
ok so how would I program my pro 106 then..leave it the way I have it ? I'm at a loss now. I have the Benton county ID's programed in...IT sounds like the radio tech's are working on the analog side of things today..

Does the scanner allow you to set tones. Or select analog/digital audio types. I’m not familiar with the radio shack stuff.

Is there anything under tones that says NAC? If so that’s how you can PROGAN P25 conventional. Right now since they’re on analog you could just mouse around the scanner or computer software. That way when or if they go digital you can then figure out what to program.

That would be what you need if they go to P25 digital. Sam for Henry County county if you listen to them. Not sure if you listen to multiple counties or not. I sometiems monitor up to 8 different counties.

I still have not heard anything out of the Sherriff on the Digital side of things yet...I guess maybe they are not going that way ....Or they have not got the radios yet..got a "T" and full bars on the scanner on the control channel ready to go though..

You would need to be listening for digital on tue Benton SO freq if they go digital. So far I’ve not heard anything about Benton county MoSWIN to MoSWIN. What you’re describing I. Your message is that you’re listening to them on MoSWIN. As of this time there is no indication of them moving to MoSWIN.
