Considering you don’t have a scanner that will decode this format you would likely have to wait for a contributed to find the code and submit it. As for the scanner. You can buy it at any time. I haven’t heard of untidiness selling them with the key on it. Other vendors (not Uniden do). Usually Uniden will tell a buyer they need to buy the key once the receive the scanner…which is what I recommend…it will save you money. If you buy from a vendor versus Uniden do NOT let the vendor sell you programming. Just buy it ajd progan on your own. You’ll save money.

If you were to get tue X36 or SDS line of scanners you can buy software ajd make your own programming.
You can also use Sentinel which is free programming software provided by Uniden. You don't need a scanner to download and install Sentinel. Here is the link: BCDx36HPSentinel < UnidenMan4 < TWiki Uniden has been working on server problems. If you are unable to open the link, try again later.

I think more information is needed. Every agency? Just law enforcement? Some people are only interested in listening to law enforcement, but others want to hear fire departments and EMS as well. They would want clarification on whether the encryption applies to all public safety or just law enforcement.

Just "for what it is worth" - there are some people, even in LE places, who equate digital with encrypted. There is a possibility the new digital system, which, since most older/analog scanners do not decode digital modes such as NXDN or DMR, that some people will consider a signal encrypted since their scanner cannot receive it.

I see two multi-dispatch talk groups in MOSWIN.

I have monitored this system. Sometimes, SO and/or PDs are not specifically listed in MOSWIN; however, they may be present. Many of the counties in MOSWIN are like this, particularly the smaller municipalities.

However, since there are reports of Benton going to NXDN, I don't know what will happen.

Every county in Missouri has an all call and travel channel. Not are all listed because not everyone uses MoSWIN. For example in Polk and hickory county they don’t use MoSWIN at all. Polk county dispatch only uses MoSWIN to contact Springfield state ajd that’s rare. I’ve never heard Benton use MoSWIN at all. Not even on the A IO Call roll call region A PSAP’s do. .

Sure am disappointed about them going encrypted too...really see no need for this... over the top...Transparency problem with me and others..

I’ve heard them use their Travel channel when a Deputy goes to another city to transport a prisoner.
