Bentonville school bus frequency check

Not for sure if Bentonville school bus channel One is correct because I've been scanning since 6:00 a.m. and today is the first day of school of 2025 and I'm not hearing nothing plus I'm not even getting repeater out of range and everything's the same since last school year I could hear them just fine. So I don't know what's going on could anyone confirm or tell me what's wrong because I'm confused why it worked last year and it's not working now.

I don't know but I would be running discovery and/or wildcard search on the Bentonville P25 system to see if they have transitioned to it. Possibly AWIN but I would think the Bentonville system would be more likely. Maybe someone in that area knows and will chime in.

Their channel 2 in which they only switch when they tell dispatch or dispatch tells them to go to channel 2 which is DMR and it's showing active but their main channel is channel 1 DMR so I'm confused cuz it worked last year and then recently someone posted channel 2 which I never had I only had channel One which it all worked perfectly last year and right before summer and it's like channel One is not even active anymore unless it's down because on channel 1 I'm not even getting repeater out of range but on their channel 2 I get repeater out of range even if it says that I can still hear them.

I mean, it's a new year so they certain could have changed. There may be other channels they're using that are not listed in the database.

Remember: The database is sourced from scanner users manually submitting data. It isn't automatic. Someone can change systems and if it isn't submitted then the database is out of date with inaccurate info.

My point is...just because it worked last year doesn't mean it will this year. But, maybe someone will come along who is in that area and knows or can run some discovery and see if they can be found.

Also they may have gone E. Many, many schools are fully encrypting everything, including bus communications. And yes, a huge amount of Benton Co. school comms are on AWIN. No one has submitted any school comms on the Bentonville P25, maybe you can listen and find them.

These are still on the air. I live about 6 miles south of BHS and can listen to all 3 with a rubber duck on a sds150 and sds200.
