I suspect the days may be numbered they remain on this conventional repeater.

The 470.8375 P25 encrypted channel over in NYC has a large presence, especially so with BH being line of sight.

Perhaps NJICS sooner then later?

The Berkeley Heights repeater has already dropped off a couple of times. Berkeley Heights is dispatched by county, so they may as well move and cut the buck. Fireground 10 is waiting very patiently...

Good point, the County “2400” BH control station must be up high as they are
very strong on input to me.

Being closer to NYC and up high is interesting. I see -60 dBm .837 on SA right on up to the adjacent channel edge.

.837 largest NYC signal 470-471 by -20 dBm!

I suspect Simulcast from SI Todt Hill likely up at 600-700 MSL.

The additional Site 7 will serve well and the “lazy” trailer over at NPFD
will get a much deserved rest. Take a look.

Fuzzy memory says at least 2021. A search “Site 21” takes us back.

The days of radio ditch and “little brother” here. Not so much now.

Sean said he remembers clearing the channel data before monitoring. He'll check again tomorrow. 853.53125 is showing "Never" for first/last seen, which means it somehow made its way into UT aside from direct monitoring. Possibly a remnant from another site as an old peer control channel.

You might be confusing it with STR I, which was at Eatontown PD for quite some time before the Monmouth cell was built out.
