171.4625 NFM P25 picked up approx 6 miles east of I-81 on WV RT 9 near the Berkeley/Jefferson county line. What is interesting to me is the fact that I was using Close Call mode at the time so it couldn't have been too far from that location.

Been watching from home this afternoon using SDRSharp and DSDPlus. It has a signal strength of -28db. NAC is 563, Talk Group 1 source id 5801366 is the only activity I've seen. Full encryption.

Couple of Federal buildings in that area, 1 next to the V.A. hospital and the Coast Guard on the county line. Just guessing.

Recorded a few transmissions in the clear overnight. Sounded like security types but nothing to id the site. "201 to base reporting 10-41", post 4 heard talking about "take your time, it's slippery out there" Numerous encrypted transmissions copied overnight.

That frequency has started showing up as part of the new wide-area CBP P25 systems along the southern US border. The N301 NAC is almost always CBP and it makes me think this *might* be one of the new CBP D-NET channels that have also started to appear. Keep an ear on this one for further developments.

167.4125 NAC 167 TG 65523 AES 256 key encryption has been pretty active this morning. Presumed FBI.

Being received with the same signal strength as 166.925 PL 127.3 US Park Police so most likely not local.

however the Freq in Question is typically USFS and with a NF near by, it is odd.

Do you have a 2nd Radio to verify if it is an image ?

167.4125 is FBI out of the NorthernVA region as well as Winchester VA. Its now being used on the Federal Interop TRS but I have seen it analog with encryption, analog in the clear, digital encrypted, and digital in the clear as well as a mix of all when different agents take over an operation. I've seen this in use in Clarke Co., Frederick Co. and Winchester VA as well as in TX and AZ.

166.925 is US Park Police out of DC.

BM82557 I'm seeing your findings and glad your finding stuff. I recently got the BCD436HP and I'm still learning it. I'll soon get to the "Discovery" mode on this scanner and see if I can also come up with some new stuff.

172.7500 NFM P25 NAC 4C5 active today, Clear, at 1pm mentioned Bakerton Road so maybe NPS Harper's Ferry.

173.8375 NFM P25 NAC 1 active today, encrypted, Mount Weather Virginia facility is in the RR DB as using this freq. NAC in the DB is different than what I copied so either the NAC at MT WX has changed since it was listed in the DB or this is a different site. From the signal strength I'm guessing it is MT WX.
