I hear Berkeley is ready to move to 850 Mhz? Anyone got those frequencies yet?

The current plan is for them to migrate to the EBRCS Alameda County Northwest Simulcast Cell in September.

Berkeley EBRCS

Get ready to not be able to hear anything either---P-25 Simulcast is the death knell for listeners.
My Scanners are slowly becoming paperweights. I will not buy another Digital Scanner until GRE or Uniden come up with a fix. I am surprised there are fewer serious discussions about this issue.

I'm sure they will be for a little while. The other agencies that have made the switch to EBRCS so far have.
