Berkeley Tree Sitter activity?

What is the situation?
Police are finally trying to get the final tree sitters out of the last tree after something like almost 2 years... Crowds formed and are confronting police.. Typical Berkeley stuff..
EDIT:
I see you may not be local to CA, so background, UC Berkeley is building a new stadium and had to remove some of an old oak grove to do it.. Some people didn't like it so decided to sit in the trees. I guess there's one tree left and the plan is to take it down today so they are beefing up efforts to get the sitters out.
