Anyone who wants to catch every single dispatch in Berkshire County needs to only monitor approx 30 channels - but you probably need to sit at the top of Mt Greylock in order to catch all of them - Berkshire County is a mountainous county

Listening to Great Barrington FD feed - 154.31 - hearing agencies being paged out countywide - Adams Ambulance - South Berkshire Ambulance - Becket Fire - Lenox Fire - Alford Fire - West Stockbridge Fire - all dispatched by County - mostly just hear the dispatcher

1843 tonight heard "Car 6 responding" via a strong repeater - maybe was a Becket unit

units are signing on and arriving on this channel - in fact it seems that everything is being done on this 1 channel - except perhaps any onscene unit to unit comms

607 PM tonight - monday night monitor tests - Adams Fire + Adams ?404? + Alford Fire + Becket Fire + Becket EMS + Becket Chief + Blandford + Cheshire Fire + Cheshire Chief - out of service units include West Stockbridge Engine 1 + New Marlboro Engine 1

calls are toned once - and the info is read twice - just address + agency + incident type + timeout are given

dispatchers are not echoing every message from field units
