Looks like a possible trunked system. What is the service code for that callsign?

It is most likely to be like the Franklin Regional [FROG] went with Multiple Conventional Repeaters linked into the neighboring Regions. PW - Conventional is the Radio Service

Blandford - 453.4500 460.3750
Great Barrington - 460.0375 460.2000 460.3875
North Adams - 453.4375 460.3875 460.6250
Pittsfield - 453.6125 460.0625 460.3625 460.5750
Savoy - 453.6500 460.3875

Since BSO Dispatches for many of the Police/Fire/EMS in the County, I'm inclinded to think Similar to FROG

Any CTCSS/DCS Tones as they build-out, Post.

I've been hearing a repeater key up on 460.0625 with a CTCSS tone of 156.7 Hz but there isn't any voice.

Have they narrowbanded on VHF yet? I noticed low audio on the fire control channel the other night, but I was too busy to fiddle with the scanner.

I was out that way last month and it didn't seem as so. However, we know how things move [slowly, then slam we need to do it by yesterday]

Not yet.. I was at Pittsfield Communications recently and they said it's not going to happen until next year.

Have they begun to implement/use the UHF Frequencies Yet??

Over at SNE there is a wiki, so we can begin to track the UHF Tones and usage..........

Heard berkshire sheriff control today on 460.100 d432. Must of been from the lenox mountain tower as I was very close by. Seemed like the main dispatch channel for the small towns.

I got another hit yesterday in Pittsfield about a mile from their dispatch center:
466.2500

C114.8

Interesting that these frequencies aren't listed under their new UHF plan!

Sounds like your getting Signal Overload.

Also, wasn't BCSO going PL not DPL on the UHF ???

Do you understand that a very strong signal can overload a scanner and give you false frequencies and tones?
If you program in the results you have reported and try monitoring them, you will find that if the frequency/ tone combination is reproduced, it will not be all the traffic on the system.
