does anyone know which fire agences are using F911 for dispatch and which ones are still being dispatched on vhf? Have heard some dispatch on vhf then switch to F911 when on scene. Also is medic 1 full time 800mhz? I hear them broadcasting on both frequencies (TG 3523 and 154.7400). and when is Smcas going to 800mhz?

I don't know of any fire or ems agency in Berrien County using 800 mhz exclusively for dispatch. Some use it to dispatch out of specific necessity at the time. Others times BCSD dispatch will relay an urgent call to Medic 1, for example on their TG rather than by TX.

Perhaps others have observed differently.

I haven't noticed any consistent pattern with usage. I think it's just a catch-as-catch-can thing like jimsokol mentioned
