LOCATION: On Larimer County Road 21 .4 miles north of Larimer County Road

On 7-23-08 at approximately 9:13 A.M. Troopers responded to Larimer County
Road 21 near Larimer County Road 6.
A tan colored 1984 Buick Riviera was traveling southbound on Larimer County
Road 21. The vehicle went off the right side of the road, overcorrected
and came back onto the roadway while rotating counter clockwise while out
of control. The vehicle continued and went off the left side of the roadway
in an airborne manner over an embankment and struck the ground with its
right front corner and rolled 1 1/2 times, coming to rest on its top. The
driver was ejected and came to rest north of the vehicle.
The unrestrained driver has been identified as Pamela Cox, 53 of Berthoud,
CO. Cox sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene by a
medical physician.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected as contributing factors, however speed
may have contributed.
Next of kin have been notified.
This incident is still under investigation.
