Hey guys so I live near Northampton county pa. They are in the 500mhzs channels. So to listen what’s a good antenna for that? Connector is SMA Female.

Nagoya 771
Smiley 5/8 slim duck 470
Smiley slime line 470
Diamond antenna SRJ77CA

Any more recommendations or which of these you think would be the best is great!!
Thanks

Not sure if anything is left to listen to on Northampton's T-band channels (500 mhz). Fairly certain all ops have moved over to the new Northampton Co Public Safety trunked radio system. Discussion thread is linked below

Yeah maybe your right, I didn’t know the forms had state to state and then ppl post about county’s. So maybe on the 500s there is nothing tbh anymore.

But to listen to p25 trunking systems and scanner will do??

well for the county i live in they use analog so i use a regular ham radio to listen...like the baofeng or lookng into getting the td-h9 cause it goes in the 500s but for this instance it seems like it wont work...so i guess id have to get a uniden as you described??

Correct, neither of those will work for the new TRS. See full list of supported scanners here. You'll be taking a simulcast distortion gamble with anything else other than one of the aforementioned SDS models

So to listen to the P25 trunking systems, what would be your top three you would recommend?? In order.
