Best all around software for the Pro-96?

Greetings gents. I just picked up a Pro-96 about a month ago (newbie by the way) and i'm looking for some good all around software for it. All around meaning ability to work with Uniden's as well as RS's so that i'd be able to transfer/sync freq's back and forth from Rat Shack to Uniden (already thinking about their BC796D base/mobile model!) and vice versa and also have the ability to cut, copy, paste etc. Starrsoft's Win 96's interface looks nice and all but i think it lacks the above requirements by myself. Unlike Scancat's Scancat-Lite-Plus I think that the above requirements are already incorporated. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
