Best Antenna for Bearcat BC350C car mounted

Hello! I am very new at all of this, and purchased my first mobile scanner today! However, I am wondering what antenna to use. As I'm sure you all know without me telling you, the scanner scans from 25-965MHz. So I am told, but I thought they only went to 800MHz..... Anyhow, I am looking for a good well rounded antenna that will cover the broad range of frequancies. I am a firefighter/EMS providor in a county that uses low band (46.25) but the next county over (where I also run) is in the 500's...so I really need to be able to listen to pretty much the whole range of the scanner.

Ideas?

Well I looked around, and found great reviews of the Larsen NMO150/450/800 Tri-band Antenna, so good, I went to order one from Cheapham.com....until I read the discription...it doesn't cover the 25-149 frequancies! Oops...that won't work for me!

So are there not any antenna's that cover the broad range of 25-900? So do I need two antennas? One for low band, and say the Larsen listed above? Can I do that?

I have a Watson WSM1900 mag mount that works for me. It's rated for 25 - 1900 mhz.

I have had good reception on low-band using a UHF antenna--the PCTEL/Antenna Specialists Mosaic Antenna, 5 db gain. Also, I have found that the New-Tronics Hustler Model MRM, mobile scanner antenna, with a magnet mount, which basically covers 30-950 mhz, works very well on low-band and receives the other bands OK. In my experience, generally the longer the whip/radial is, the better the low-band reception is.
