Can anybody recommend a good 2.4Ghz mobile antenna that I can plug right onto the IC-R3 handheld? (Something with better gain than stock antenna)

Also, if you know of a good replacement all/wideband antenna that works better than the stock one, I could use a recommendation as well.

Thanks!!

Just about any high-gain antenna designed for 2.4GHz WiFi should work fine. Check for the type of connector required, try to avoid adapters.

That's part of the problem I'm having...I cannot find a "Rubber Duckie" style 2.4Ghz antenna or anything similar that plugs directly to the scanner without cable that comes with a BNC connector...which means I'd need an adapter.

The Icom IC-R3 has a video screen. Most likely he plans on looking for 2.4GHz wireless video/security cameras, nanny cams, etc. But they are low power, and you need to be very close.
