Best encoder?

I use Windows Media Encoder for streaming but I don't care for it. Anything else out there that is good? I already have a server and primcast server.

if you already have the DNAS, why not just use shoutcast or one of the alternatives?

I've been using the linux combo of sc_trans / DNAS for over a year with no issues. I have been pretty happy with it

One of the best is SimpleCast, great interface. Really Easy to use.
