I recently purchased a BC436HP. I have been listening to some stuff around Seattle and it's been great. I live in the Wallingford/Greenlake area and I was wondering if anyone knew the best frequencies to listen for events going on in my area. So far I have been listening to the following for my neighborhood:

Seattle Police Dispatch North TGID 3280

Seattle Fire Channel 1 Primary Fire TGID 1648

Seattle Fire Channel 6 EMS Primary TGID 1808

I also found this website listing Seattle Police beats: Find your MCPP Neighborhood - Police | seattle.gov

I haven't had much luck listening to any EMS frequencies so if anyone knows any of those that would be great! My goal is to be able to hear to the sirens outside my place and know exactly what location each one is going to by listening to the scanner.

I am also looking for good frequencies to listen to generally. Any advice or input is much appreciated!

Thanks!

Thanks a lot! I heard about a car accident a few blocks away from me today listening to Channel 6 EMS Primary.

Does EMS broadcast on the same frequencies as the Seattle Fire Site or do they have frequencies of their own?
