Best Frequencies Traveling I-35

Three of four time a year I make the trip to Iowa from West Texas passing through Kansas via I35. Every year I try a different set of frequencies attempting to monitor the Kansas Highway Patrol, without much if any success. I would appreciate any insight and suggestions that those of you that live in and monitor Kansas troopers could provide as I travel I-35 and the Kansas Turnpike.

KHP and Turnpike are on the KSICS digital trunked radio system. See:

There is also a Travel Reference section in the RR Wiki for Kansas now. It gives county info along several major roads thru the State.
