Best Mag Mount for 800mhz

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could suggest the best mag mount for 800 mhz to use with my pro2096. I am currently using a cellular antenna (I think Antenna Specialists) with the spring looking coil in the middle. I really does not get the job done.

I have heard good things about the Comtelco A21855. Is this a good antenna? Is there any "gold standard" antenna out there for monitoring 850-860 mhz? Right now, I am leaning toward the Comtelco.

Any suggestions?

I can't comment specifically comment on the A21855, but I have been using a Comtelco A11331B-Y Tri-Band and it is great in the 850 MHz as well as 775 MHz P25 Digital. The A21855 should be better than the A11331.

The mag mount is not as important as what antenna in on it. Check your private msg's.
