Best portable scanner antenna for home patrol help

Anyone up on whats the best? I've been using some RS antennas but thought maybe you brainiacks would know of a great wide band antenna I could buy for the HP? THANKS GUYS Ron

At home, I am using a Comet SMA3. According to the specifications, it's good for 118-160, 250-290, 360-390, 420-470, and 820-960.

The Uniden stock antenna, at my location, produced a noisey weather station signal (162.55) and a weak 2M repeater signals, but worked fine for 800Mhz.

I had about the same results using a RS 800Mhz.

The Comet SMA3 is providing great reception.
