Best SDR For HF Monitoring

What's a good SDR for listening to the low bands? I'm also looking for advice on how to rig up an antenna to hook up to it and how to ground it for lightning safety. Thanks.

First question - what is your budget? Generally speaking the more you pay for the more you get. In no particular order, there are a number of Perseus, Elad and SDRPlay users, and even some RTL-SDR and other so-called 'stick' SDRs that have real issues with heat dissipation and front end protection (overload, etc.). Be more specific.
